Scout Night at Lime Rock
October 21-22

A perfect event for easy camping. Drive up to your campsite, unload and set up. Fix your meals or buy them at the snack bar. It doesn't get any easier than this. Camp on the infield Friday night and enjoy the races on Saturday. Open to Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and their families. Click here to download a flyer.

Cub Scout Fright Nite
October 29th 4-7pm at Camp Sequassen

Many fun activities sponsored by area Boy Scout Troops - starting with an opening costume parade, (get more from that brand new Halloween costume), a chilling guided tour, ghost stories, pumpkin decorating (paint it or stab it with a knife), house of horrors, apparitions in dark places, feats of skills, spook games, blood curdling contests and more ending with a spooky snack. Cub Scout Day Camp 2005

Pack your sea chests, polish your hooks, and come aboard Captain Jack’s pirate ship Pollywogg and set sail for a week-long adventure on the seven seas. This action-packed voyage will bring you in search of the long lost buried treasures of the notorious pirate, Captain Peg Leg. Along the way take part in sports, arts and crafts, nature study, archery, songs, skits, games, and many more activities found along the course of our journey. Click here to download a brochure. Cub Scout Fun Fest
Saturday, July 16th Deer Lake Adventure Center

This is the third event themed in
natural science. First it was light. Then it was sound. Now it's electricity.
You'll be shocked at all the fun things you can do with electricity.
Plan to be amazed with exciting hands-on experiments and dazzling displays.
Once your head gets super charged with new information you can chill out at
the beach, visit fat man's squeeze, take a boat ride, or join in on a sports
event.
This is one event the entire family will enjoy.

Cub Scout Resident Camp
It's all about you! Cub Resident Camp and Webelos Camp offer identical theme-related programs from daylight to dark. There will be plenty of opportunities to swim, shoot archery and BB guns, fish, do special handicrafts, go boating on beautiful West Hill Pond and most of all, enjoy quality time with your Mom and Dad, best friends or all of them. Scout Night at the Bluefish
Friday, June 19th.

Celebrate Father's Day with a great
game of baseball, full evening of fun, fireworks and a campout at the annual
Scout Night at the Bluefish. This event draws nearly 1,000 Scouts and
families. We're offering a special day game on Sunday, June 19 as well.
Only 800 seats are available and will be distributed on a first come, first
serve basis. This event fills up quickly, so register early. See

Pack Camp Out
Saturday June 4th at Kettletown State Park, area #2. Arrive anytime Saturday, bring your favorite outdoor activities, bikes, fishing gear, etc. Click here for a list of camping essentials. Costs are $5 per person and includes Saturday dinner & Sunday breakfast. We will break camp at approximately 11am. See your Den Leader for details.

19th Annual Ct. Yankee Council
Fishing Derby

Plan to go trout fishing on April 2nd or 9th at the Connecticut Yankee Council's Fishing Derby at Deer Lake. Bring Mom or Dad to bait the hook and buy your lunch... We'll do the rest. Our fish bite on anything so be prepared to reel 'em in.

Blue & Gold Banquet
The Blue & Gold Banquet will be held in the Reed Intermediate School Cafetorium on Thursday February 17th at 6:30pm. Volunteers are still needed to help with the event. Those of you that are interested in lending a hand, please contact Karen Soderholm.
