For the past 5 years we have been actively involved in charity work in the Dominican Republic.

There are literally thousands of children who love the game of baseball, but do not have the

money to afford decent equipment. Children play in bare feet, with cardboard gloves and sticks

for bats. To date, with the help of many of our friends, we have delivered numerous containers

of used and new baseball equipment.

With many of the Parks & Recreation Department’s sports programs coming to a close, many

families may be looking to upgrade their old equipment or throw away equipment that is either

too small or worn out. If this is the case then please keep us in mind. I will be collecting, at

every Pack Meeting, donations of sporting equipment including gloves, balls, bats, cleats,

uniform shirts, pants & hats that will give a child in the Dominican Republic a chance at what

we take for granted. Donations of children’s clothing will also be accepted and greatly

appreciated.

We are currently starting a foundation called “Fudacion Los Ninos de Eros” or The Children of

Eros. This is the most gratifying work we have ever done and with your help we can keep on

 giving.
