Peter Cochrane, Newtown Babe Ruth Baseball League's Secretary and long-time Pack 270 Pinewood Derby Coordinator, passed away Sunday, September 21st after a long battle with cancer. Peter spent countless hours working in the best interests of the children in our program and he will be greatly missed.

Pack 270 wish to extend our most heart-felt sympathies to Peter's wife, Elizabeth, his children P.J., Katie and Jamie. In lieu of flowers, Peter and his family request that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society: www.cancer.org.

Cub Scout Fright Night

Don't miss this frighteningly fun annual event. Cub Scouts and siblings are invited to brave the haunted trail at Sequassen, create a seasonal craft, share in a spooky snack, and kick-off the Halloween season in grand style. There will be special prizes for those who come in costume!
