Youth Protection Training (YPT)

Youth Protection Training is required of all registered adult leaders regardless of position, including den leaders, assistant den leaders, pack committee members, and other leader positions. Though only required every two years by the Boy Scouts of America, the Connecticut Yankee Council imposes a more strict requirement for completion every year. The online course is very simple and can be completed in approximately 30 minutes. Live, in-person training options may also be available on certain dates throughout the year.
